What are your wedding reception centerpieces? When is your wedding, and what centerpieces are you having/do you want? We have ours picked out - 10 candles in different sizes around an Eiffel tower filled with burgundy and white orchids, and our wedding is July 19, 2009. White fish for wedding reception centerpieces? I need to know what kind of fish is all white or mostly white. We want to use them in bowls with black rocks as centerpieces at our wedding reception. And not a big ugly fish that you catch from the river out back. lol thanks :) Thanks for the helpful answers. And don't worry about what will happen to the fish! We plan to put a sticker under one chair at each table and then whoever has that chair will get the fish. and if they don't want it, we will take them home and put them in our tank :) I've never heard of a platy fish, or a mickey fish. Unique, blue wedding centerpieces for reception? Hello, I am getting married in May 09' and I am trying to get an idea of what I want. I am looking at different reception centerpieces, but haven't really had any good ideas for something unique. My wedding colors are marine and white so I was really hoping to find something that could be incorporated into that; but I really didn't want to do flowers. Wedding reception centerpiece to make. On a budget, but still want elegance? I am getting married in a month and cannot find anything I really like. I am making the centerpieces myself. I really like flowers and candles. The reception room has a very romantic feel to it with large wooden beams that are lite up and large stone fire places. Our wedding centerpieces are beautiful, but we just don't have a need for 21 glass bowls, glass beads, or the floating candles that we have in them. Need ideas for wedding reception centerpieces, please? We are getting married in June. Our colors are claret (a deeper red), white, and silver. Our tables are going to be 66" wide and seat 8 people per table. The reception should be about 50-60 people (so, 6-7 tables). We are having Gerber daisies (one of each, hand-tied) in red, orange and yellow for the bridesmaids and a single red rose boutonnière for the men. I am thinking of sprinkling red rose petals on the table, but am not set on that. We are looking for candle-type centerpieces, or, floral. Budget centerpieces for wedding reception? I'm getting married on the day before valentines day & my color scheme is red & white with accents of black. I don't want to use flowers because I think that will just be too expensive. Also, we can't use candles at the reception unless theyre smokeless candles & I haven't been able to find any of those that aren't too pricey. Also, i'm going for a really romantic feel.

Last week she complimented a centerpiece I made, and asked me to help her select the centerpieces for the reception tables. While on the phone, she hollered to her fiancé that I was going to get the centerpieces for them. Then she asked me if I could email her some pictures of the types we talked about. I thought nothing of it, since I want to help her, so I found some ideas online and sent her some pictures of the types she prefers. She replied back with the option she liked and asked me to please "purchase them soon". ...I don’t mind picking them up, and setting them up. However I feel like she wants me to purchase all the centerpieces. I want to help her, but this is going to be expensive. Is this a normal request?

What do you think of Wedding Cake Centerpieces for each reception table? Where there would be one main larger cake for the bride and groom to cut and bridal party to have, and then all of the guests' tables having one cake each that is big enough to serve everyone seated. Each cake would be two or three layers, simple white icing, with rich colored roses decorating each cake. Then when it came time to cut the cakes, servers would come around and cut and serve them. What would you think about this if you were a guest? They would be high quality cakes, decorated well enough to serve as decorations for each table, (instead of the traditional centerpiece).

Question about centerpieces for wedding reception? I want to order some silver manzanita branches and I am renting tall clear vases to put them in. Flowers are much more expensive than I realized so I will have hanging crystals from the branches and some votive candles around the base. I am not doing this on all the tables, only about half so it is not overwhelming. I need some ideas for the rest of the centerpieces. Table Centerpiece for Night Club themed wedding reception? My Significant other and I have decided on a night club themed wedding reception. we've figured out most of the decor we want but aren't sure what we want to do for the centerpiece. One Idea we had was a tulip in a tall clear cylinder filled with water w/ small voltive candles around the cylinder. Another, more simple, idea is 3 small candle lit lamps in the center. Any Ideas?
