Michigan themed wedding favor ideas?

I'm looking for suggestions on Michigan themed wedding favors. My sister is already thinking chocolate covered cherries for her wedding so I would like to do something different... but same sort of idea. Thanks in advance! Oh, and I'm looking to not spend more than 4-5$ per person for a ~200 guest wedding

1. isn't MI shaped like a mitten? maybe you could get cheap pairs of mittens and put a tag on them with the wedding date or something.

6. At the wineries in Traverse City you can get personal labels put on wine bottles with the date of your wedding, pics of you two, etc. if you are ordering 200 bottles you can plan $4-6 its a great souvenir for your guests and is a classy representation of Michigan as well!
7. I think of apples when I think Michigan - why not caramel apples? Or there is Frankenmuth with it's wonderful German heritage so maybe something from there. If you are sports minded there are plenty of Michigan teams to choose from. 8. Cherries, Blueberries, Ryba's Mackinac Island fudge or salt water taffy, apples, polished petoskey stones, anything boat related. Thats all I could think of off the top of my head.
9. Well, Michigan has more lighthouses than any other state in the US. In fact, there are 116 of them!!!
