  1. Yep: I`m Greek born,just not fat.
  2. i had a moment where i thought of a really dumb movie. there ya go.
  3. Im greek. lol Our family have big weddings and make a big deal and lots of food. my mum's parents are strict.
  4. in terms of culture no but it was a good movie as it gave a little insight into what the greek culture is like
  5. Im greek -.- not married yet, im 16, but i can just see how bad its going to be by the things that happen when i bring a boyfriend over. My parents are overly friendly and ask alot of questions and force my bfs to eat their food or else they feel dis respected. The easter thing is totally true. We roast lambs and crack eggs. The brain is to make your smarter and the eyes help you see better. All greeks HATE turks. My aunt is dating a mexican and they are engaged and my grandpa wont invite any of the family or his friends. He wont even allow her to bring him to greece with her, because greeks have huge mouths and are major gossipers and have big egos. Although when one of my uncles got married to a greek girl, we had over 500 guests. Our pride is huge. if you dont have a son you are considered a failure. I live in miami florida and still all this stuff applys. i wasnt even born in greece or ever lived there. just my background.
  6. Yes ... well, I at least think that my mom wants me to have a big fat Greek wedding. My boyfriend has social anxiety and panic attacks; he'd never forgive me for such a wedding! Plus, my family is Greek, and although my grandfather doesn't believe in the powers of Windex, he does seem to have a new "miracle cure for everything" all the time.
