  1. Yes, they do. All you have to do it write your names and registry number on them.
  2. Yes they do...
  3. Yes, the store will give you enough small cards to add to your invitations. Although edict will tell you otherwise, many couples today are adding them along with their invitations. It used to be looked down upon to do this, and it was expected that your bridal party would "casually inform" your guest where you were registered, but times have changed. Which ever way you choose to do it, please do not print it on your invite directly, that is still considered greedy, no matter what time era you are getting married in. Good Luck! :)
  4. Most stores do. As an option, my husband and I bought a pack of printable business cards and created our own. I went to each stores website and copied thier logo and put it on the card with the registry information. I received lots of compliments on the idea.
  5. I have our registry listed on our website....I think it looks tacky to include that with the invitation.
  6. I had my bridal shower in July and i also registered at Target and BB&B. They both gave me cards to put in the invites. I did run out of them but I just went back to the store and they gave me as much as I wanted. Good Luck!
  7. They do because they want people to shop at their stores. It's okay to send the cards with shower invitations (because the purpose of the shower is to bring gifts), but it is not at all classy to send them with the wedding invitations. Stores set this system up and tell you it's fine to send the cards in your invitations, but that's just so they can sell more. It's very tacky to refer to gifts in any way in your wedding invitation. Let family, close friends and your bridal party know where you're registered. People will ask if they want to get a gift off the registry.
  8. Yes, they all do...if they have them in stock. I just registered at 3 places, and only 1 place had cards. So I got to thinking and thought....why put in multiple cards? That's just more for your guests to lose, right? Not to mention increase postage because of the additional weight of the cards.... So I downloaded a postcard template from Microsoft office online...spiced it up with a border and a little wedding bouquet clipart...and I listed the following information.... *********************************** Jaime and John are registered at the following locations: Bed, Bath, & Beyond Kohl's Target Please remember to get gift receipts, as there may be duplicates and it will help them out! ********************************* Good luck!
  9. Yes, Target and Bed Bath & Beyond both have the cards you can insert into your invitation. Target also has stickers if you prefer. Both the cards and the stickers are blank, though, so you must write in your names, etc. Another option is to make your own. A friend of mine didn't like the Target cards or stickers very much because they didn't match the invites she already ordered. She quickly designed some registry cards in Word and printed them on pretty paper. I thought they looked very nice and they matched her invitations.
  10. Target and Bed Bath and Beyond both give out cards you can insert into the invitation. You can also just have it printed on the invitation, it depends on the look you're going for. Also, some stores give you discounts on everything you register for (10% off if you buy it within a year). Which is something you might want to look into.
  11. I think the card inserts are a good idea. Most people will say it is tacky but I disagree. Just because you put them in there doesn't mean your expecting a gift that's just ridiculous thinking. Some people need to get off their high horse and take their heads out of the etiquette clouds If people get all tweeked because you put registry cards in with your invitations they need some serious help because they've got som SERIOUS isssues that need to be addressed. Congratulations on your big day!!!!! Good Luck!!!!
  12. Yes, they will give you the cards. Then, you take them home and THROW THEM AWAY. Do not write where you are registered on invitation, either. It is bad etiquette. If someone asks you, or a family member, or a bridesmaid, you can tell them. That is all you do. No one is required to buy you a gift from your bridal registry, by the way.
  13. Yes they sure do!!!!! With the Bed, Bath and Beyond, they give you the cards and ask them to print out your registry # and your names and they can do that for you. Instead of you writing it all down. It helps ALOT!!!! Target gives them out also, they will be in the packet that they give you when you start to register. Good Luck!!! And have fun!!!!! <3
  14. Most places do. If not, you could always print up your own on business card stock. It would be really easy to do. It's more common these days for the bride and groom to just tell people where they are registered where as in the past it was more by word of mouth. People appreciate knowing, and would rather put money into something they know you want and/or need!
